Nepal’s ‘Season of Dragonflies’ draws French, German producers
Catherine Dussart Productions (CDP) from France and Michael Henrichs’ Die Gesellschaft DGS from Germany have boarded Nepalese writer and director Abinash Bikram Shah’s Season of Dragonflies (Jhyalincha). Nepal’s Icefall Productions and Shooney Films are also producing. Icefall producer Ram Krishna Pokharel is also attending Film Bazaar alongside Henrichs.

Written and directed by Bikram Sapkota, Halkara portrays the life of a postman delivering letters. It features his dreams, internal conflicts, and the dynamics of foreign employment. Mahesh Tripathi essays the lead role, while Binita Thapa Magar, Umesh Tamang, Pashupati Rai and Deepak Kshetri are in supporting roles. The film was produced by Kalipar Studio and Icefall Productions.
The shooting of the Israeli film ‘When Clouds Fall’ has been completed in Nepal
Ramkrishna Pokharel, the head of Icefall Productions, the production company from Nepal, informed that the shooting of the film was completed from Indra Chowk in Kathmandu on Monday. Earlier, the film was shot for 14 days in Manang and 14 days in Pokhara. "The cooperation with the Israeli team was very interesting," Pokharel said.
